Who we are

Within this working group, which meets monthly, the following aspects are addressed:

• Definition of potential projects and priority thematic areas in TEIB
• Promotion of specific forums for strategic areas in TEIB, such as energy storage, circular economy in the energy industry, or demand management, among others
• Dissemination of information on calls for proposals or tenders for innovative projects or those of interest to group participants
• Proposal of relevant indicators for Ecological Transition, the methodology for their calculation, as well as for the collection of data and their method of presentation and dissemination.

In this TEIB group, the following issues are addressed:

• Propose and present, if applicable, contributions or objections to legal texts (Royal Decrees, strategic plans, sectoral plans, etc.) considered impactful for ecological transition in the Balearic Islands.

• Participate in events and meetings with the Administration and other key interest groups for TEIB.

• Propose the submission of projects or expressions of interest from TEIB to different calls.

Additionally, for the next year 2023, the possible creation of a “Training and talent” working group dedicated to the identification of training and talent needs in the Balearic Islands is being considered. The creation of this group as such has not been defined in 2022, but nevertheless activities have been carried out that have brought the scientific and knowledge community closer to the business sector.
