TEIB Cluster
We are a cluster of companies that aims to promote the green transition in the Balearic Islands.
What do we want to improve in the Balearic Islands?
- Dependent energy system with a lack of renewables
- Challenges in improving the management of our resources such as water and waste
- Need for public-private and social consensus to act in the face of the climate emergency and to limit the global warming to 1,5ºC
- We are the Spanish region with the lowest R+D+i spending
Mission
The mission of the TEIB Cluster is to promote the green transition in the Balearic Islands, through cooperation between companies and public-private collaboration, in order to achieve the decarbonization of the generation, deployment of storage systems and energy transport with the aim of adding value to the main sectors of economic sectors: tourism, trade, construction and transport.
Vision
To turn the Balearic Islands into an international benchmark in the green transition, based on renewable energies and actions focused on sectoral dynamization, talent, innovation and sustainability.
